Shawn Moore - Land Advisor
Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, it was Shawn’s early introduction into hunting by his father that led to an interest and eventual career working in land and land management. An avid waterfowl guide, deer hunter and fisherman, the outdoors has always been his calling. In 2002, Shawn took a job in Talbot and Dorchester Counties managing and overseeing more than 1700 acres of prime farmland and hunting grounds. Over a span of 20 years, he has worked alongside various State and Federal agencies on multiple wildlife enhancement projects which included clearcuts for forestry management and whitetail deer habitat to shallow water impoundments, as well as deep water pond installments for waterfowl and fish habitats. His healthy background in ag and agricultural practices helped facilitate those projects.
Currently Shawn serves as a consultant to various Eastern Shore landowners looking to enrich and enhance the prominence of wildlife and ag practices on their properties. He resides in Talbot County with his wife, Meagan, and their two children, where he continues to enjoy all that the Eastern Shore has to offer.
