Presenting Lankford House.  At the headwaters of the Marumsco Creek lies this historic farm on 18 acres. The traditional white clapboard-sided home is a quinesential Eastern Shore telescope farmhouse.  The farmhouse dates back in part of its construction to the mid-19th Century (1834-1840).  The homeplace is improved with several barns and a pond side cottage.  The private setting, tree lined drive way and surrounding farmland along the Marumsco Creek has a true sense of place to the Lankford House.   The farm dates back to late 1600’s when it was known as Hignut’s Choice.  Much time and life have passed over this land.  Today, the home is fully modernized to the 21st Century, while its setting and presence calls back to an earlier period of American history.
