It Starts With The Land In Mind
Good Morning…
Hope this note finds you well!
When my daughter Aurelia was 9 years old (English Teachers Stop Reading), she said “Fall is the Most Best Time of Year.” I could not agree more. October and November is simply the best time of year throughout the Chesapeake…
As the temperatures fall, trees, grasses, and marshlands all begin to take on different color and form, we are easily reminded of the natural beauty of the region. I hope you will make time for a morning walk, hop in the deer stand or go chase a Rockfish soon. Aurelia was correct when she said, “Fall is the Most Best Time of Year”.
There is always much to do, but today or this weekend, I hope you can make the time to enjoy being on and around your land.
Through communication like this, we hope you will recognize The Land Group is not simply a real estate company. While we are principally in the service of land brokerage, we are not just the ones to call when you want to sell or buy land. Our connection to the land and our clients is more significant. As Land Advisors, we provide guidance to landowners each day on how to better manage their land. Clearly, this is not always a buy or sell discussion.
A principal discussion we have with landowners surrounds the myriad of programs available for land conservation, land protection easements, and wildlife habitat management. In 2023, we have built this practice into a deliverable service.
Our team has decades of experience working with the non-profits, state, and federal organizations charged with the financial resources to provide these programs. If you are interested in a food plot for deer, a wildflower field conversion for pollinators or a wetland restoration for wintering waterfowl, we are the group that can help you start these conversations. A specific expertise we have is the extensive engagement in working with landowners to navigate the implementation of land protection programs and conservation easements.
Our commitment to making “the land first” has served me well in building the team and platform we have internally today at The Land Group. Our connection to the land is fundamental to how we approach our work for our clients. The Land Group is not just a company of “Realtors”. In fact, we are, conservationists, ecologists, economists, surveyors, engineers, foresters, agronomists, teachers and farmers. Our experience is here for you and I strongly believe it always “Starts with the Land.”
Let’s get a cup of coffee on one of these Fall mornings and discuss how we might help you build a conservation path on your farm. Thank you for taking the time to consider The Land Group and please enjoy the Most Best Time of the Year!
Be Well,
Ben
