Daddy… is this Dirt?
On my bulletin board is a piece of art work from my daughter Aurelia, that she recently made. The seven or eight of you that read this might recall several years ago when she was 5, she stood and as asked me if we could sell the land she was standing on. That was a cool moment when she was starting to think about what we do and how “WE SELL DIRT”. It is clearly a process in a child’s mind in understanding how the world of commerce and trade works. I believe land ownership is not inherently obvious in a child’s mind and the structure of ownership and transfer of land is clearly learned. That little 5 year old has learned a lot over the past 4 years of growing up and with the “growing up” of our new company The Land Group, she has taken keen interest in my activities. It appears now she has a stronger grasp that not only can we sell the patch grass she was standing on, The Land Group could work anywhere in the world. This is clearly an exciting prospect and I am looking forward to the growth of The Land Group in the future. I am thankful of all the support and encouragement I have received over the years leading to the “growing up” of The Land Group.
Much more to come! Onward!
