Doug Williams - Partner, Sr. Land Advisor
Born and raised on the Eastern Shore, Doug Williams grew up on family farms in western Wicomico County. This early lifestyle contributed to his amassing knowledge and understanding in all aspects of agriculture. An avid deer hunter, Doug has a thorough understanding of deer habitat, state hunting regulations and managing property for wildlife enhancement.
In addition to his real estate licenses in Maryland and Delaware, Doug is also licensed in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia as a Professional Land Surveyor. He brings over 26 years’ experience in surveying with expertise in boundary surveys, topographic/hydrographic surveys, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, construction surveys, plan and profile surveys, subdivision development, commercial development, utilities for public agencies and private industry, right-of-way and easement acquisition, geodetic control surveys, and legal descriptions. Doug has over 18 years’ experience with GPS/GIS surveying, including static GPS, real-time kinematic GPS, and mapping-grade/GIS GPS. Additionally, he has a broad knowledge in utilizing the GPS data in standard CAD systems, as well as ArcView and ArcMap. These experiences combined, give Doug a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of both the field and office operations and the strategic use of the resources available.
Besides his real estate and surveying work, Doug has taught college-level surveying courses at WorWic Community College in Salisbury.
